Add an Availability Group Listener

Summary​

Adding an availability group listener in DxAdmin.

Information​

Steps to add a listener to an existing availability group.

  1. Click on the availability group in the treeview. Edit the field marked Listener Port by clicking on the pencil icon. Once the port is entered click on the pencil icon again to save.

  2. This will set the port to listen on the IP address of the Vhost.

caution

The AG listener port is not functional with SQL Server versions prior to SQL Server 2017 CU22 and SQL Server 2019 CU7.
